1. What is Stonewall Resort's maximum capacity for such team building activities?
The possibilities for team building are almost limitless, thanks to our 1900-acre resort area. We can accommodate up to 200 participants for various activities, with the option to tailor experiences for larger groups if needed.
Our diverse offerings ensure every team can find an activity that suits its interests and goals.
Shelley says, “Because we are inside a 20,000-acre state park, it's tough to give a maximum capacity on overall team building because we can certainly work in some pretty high numbers.”
2. What are the different venues on the property where you can host team building activities?
We are proud to offer an array of venues for team building, including 21 miles of hiking and biking trails, a 26-mile long lake with 84 miles of shoreline, and various partnership activities such as mountain biking and sporting clays. Shelley says, “Whether you've done some clay shooting or not, our vendor, Stonewall Sporting Clays, are great folks to work with!”
We have an Arnold Palmer Championship Golf Course and offer unique spins on golf with our Fling and disc golf activities!
We have an affordable daily activity package, our Outfitter's Pass which allows you to enjoy kayaks, canoes and stand-ups paddleboards on the lake and disc golf, lake side.
Shelley says, “That's a wonderful kind of team building experience because you can mix and match throughout the day among all those activities.”
We also offer a few culinary team building options, like the popular guacamole-making competition, “Can We Guac” and our Mystery Box. We supply the ingredients and your guests supply the creativity.
We have The Mtn. Laurel Spa for those hoping for a spa experience. Shelley says, “A good spa day is always team building, in my book!”

Shelley says, “Personally, I highly recommend exploring our hiking trails, which offer breathtaking beauty and a great way to unwind after work. And the trails are just gorgeous. They range from moderate to more advanced, so they’re good for all levels.”
Scavenger hunts and culinary challenges, especially our guacamole competition, are top picks for their popularity and the fun, competitive spirit they invoke.
